2022/23 SJHL Schedule Released

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has released its 2022/23 regular season schedule. Teams will be playing 56 games this season, down from 58 the previous year.

The Yorkton Terriers open up on the road on Friday, September 16th against the defending SJHL champion Estevan Bruins and they will close the season with a road game against the Humboldt Broncos on Saturday, March 11th. The Terriers home opener will be Saturday, September 17th against the Bruins.

At the SJHL showcase in Warman, the Terriers will play the Nipawin Hawks on Sunday, September 25th at 7:30pm and the Kindersley Klippers on Monday, September 26th at 1:30pm.

Yorkton’s long road trip will consist of 5 games from October 27th-November 12th, while the Terriers will have three four game home-stands scheduled from October 8th-15th, November 18th-25th, and December 13th-January 6th.

The Terriers will also play a neutral site game this season when they take on the Nipawin Hawks on Tuesday, January 17th at the Wadena Recreation Centre.
